Each week over 50 appeals arrive at the Variety Club office from individuals desperate for their quality of life to be improved.

Since 1988, The Children's Variety Club has given custom-designed wheelchairs and mobility aids to over 1,800 children who are contending with a wide range of disabilities.

Grants are given to individuals for vital items of equipment such as specialist car seats, pressure relief beds, communicators and sensory room equipment for hospitals, these provides lights and sounds which can stimulate or calm children when they are in despair.
